Babies learn to walk by falling down. They don’t get all nuts about it and make themselves wrong.
I do, and did, until my friends in my ‘Karaoke’ group made me laugh at myself. They help me diminish the significance of any issue, ANY issue. That’s why it’s called ‘Karaoke’ —because there are a finite playlist of issues we humans all have, just ‘covered’ by different people.
The call with my Mom after went great and we’re making plans to do a spa day in Asheville.
My moms been gone for several years as well. I often look up and and ask silly questions as well! But now I also have a 21 yr old daughter that makes me so angry I could spit wooden nickels!!!
I wish I could still argue with my mother! She’s been dead 40 years and I think I could finally win a fight with her now.
